Outstanding  1 gallon Crock from Rager Lloyd & Company .  It was the final firm to occupy the Palatine, West Virginia pottery site along the Monongahela River between Polk and Ferry Streets.  Rager Lloyd operated from 1889 through 1901.  The crock has a semi-rounded rim with freehand stripes below the rim and above the base.  There is applied cobalt stenciling that reads "RAGER LLOYD & CO. PALATINE. W.V."    A cobalt Rose with 5 leaves is the central decoration.  The Crock is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations noted.  A rare find, in remarkable condition, the crock displays as virtually perfect.
