We are pleased to offer a distinctive Baltimore Stoneware Cake Crock in a desirable small size. It is decorated with cobalt foliate motifs on the front and reverse, with cobalt highlights on the applied lug handles. The wide, low cylindrical form features a squared rim and an incised line encircling the body.
Condition is very good, with two small rim flakes and a tiny nick to one handle. Minor glaze and surface variations are present, consistent with its age and hand crafted construction. Dimensions: 9 3/8" diameter x 4 3/4" high.
