We are pleased to offer a 1 gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made for George Walter in Butler Pennsylvania, from the late 19th century. The pot features a distinctive cobalt blue stencil advertising “GEORGE WALTER / WHOLESALE & RETAIL / GROCERIES / BUTLER, PA.” with decorative cobalt accents between the lettering.
 
The pot measures 8" high x 7¼" top diameter and has a ½" flake to the exterior top rim only, otherwise excellent. The cobalt advertising and unusual form make this a great example of business history from Butler, Pennsylvania.
