We are pleased to offer an outstanding Pickle Jar with hard to find Kansas City Advertising. This beauty was made by the Burley Winter Pottery Company of Crooksville, Ohio in the late 19th century. The Bristol glazed jar has crisp Cobalt advertising that reads "HAWKEYE PICKLES Burlington, Iowa. and Kansas City." There are 3 cobalt stripes above and below the advertising. The jar is barrel shaped and measures 13" in height and 9.5" in diameter. There's an impressed mark to the base that reads "Burley Winter & Co." It's in excellent condition with some minor flakes to the rim, lip, and base edge. No other cracks, or restorations noted.
