Excellent 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar with dark Cobalt Decoration.  This circa 1875 jar features "L.B. DILLINER / NEW / GENEVA / PA.," stenciling between freehand stripes beneath the rim and at the base.  A bold Oak Leaf stencil adorns the front.  It’s in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or post production irregularities.  There is a factory clay smudge near the base only.
