We are pleased to offer this 1890's Red Wing Stoneware Packing Jar with the distinctive dog and shield trademark of M. Wolff & Sons Chicago. This one gallon jar measures 6½" diameter x 10" high and is in beautiful condition. There are glaze anomalies inherent to the manufacturing process and a 1½" x ¾" flake to the base. It includes a 4⅛" lid that has flakes along the bottom edge and may not be original to the piece. This is a great  example of early Red Wing advertising stoneware.
