Offered for your consideration is a RARE One gallon Western Stoneware Churn bearing the distinctive maple leaf mark reading “Western Stoneware Co.” Retaining its original glaze, this great churn stands 10 7/8" high, with a 5" top diameter and 6" bottom diameter. There is a 1 1/4" flake along the bottom edge and a small 1/8" nibble to the interior lip only.
The original lid measures 4 5/8" in diameter and has a flake to the top edge. The underside of the lid and the flake were previously painted blue, which we have left as found.
This one gallon Western Stoneware Churn is increasingly difficult to find and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
